School Library
While our school boasts a well-resourced program, we support a holistic approach to learning rather than being textbook-driven. Textbooks, along with a variety of other educational resources, serve as tools that enrich the learning process. Our school is proud to have a well-stocked junior library and a senior library, both featuring a variety selection of titles across fiction, nonfiction, reference materials and encyclopedia. Teachers encourage students to fully utilize this facility to cultivate a meaningful affinity for books and intellectual resources from an early age
Reading Corner
At the library, the Reading Corner serves as a dedicated space for students to enhance their reading skills in a supportive and engaging environment. This space is designed to foster a love for reading and is equipped with a diverse selection of age-appropriate Stories.
English teachers utilize a structured reading scheme that enables students to progress through various reading levels. This scheme focuses on developing essential literacy skills, comprehension, and a deeper understanding of the texts. Through guided reading sessions, teachers provide individual support, helping students to develop their reading skills.
Students will be engaged in guiding and independent reading, allowing students to share their thoughts and insights about the stories they read. Also, students learn to appreciate different writing styles and expand their vocabulary.
Students must follow the School Library regulations regarding the borrowing and returning of books.
Those who do not return their library books on time will be reported to their parents and may face penalties.
If any books are lost or damaged, students will be required to either to bring another copy from them or pay for the replacement costs of the items in question
